Your application, one clear step at a time

Turn every university application into an ordered checklist you can follow, update, and share with your counsellor.

About checklists

Applying abroad involves dozens of small steps across multiple universities. Checklists turns each application into a structured sequence of tasks — from gathering transcripts to submitting supplements — so you always know what comes next.

The list lives alongside your Application tracker, letting you move from a high-level deadline view straight into the concrete actions that keep you on schedule. Counsellors can also review your progress and add guidance directly to the list.

What it does

  • Create a checklist per application

Generate a dedicated to-do list for each university you apply to, pre-populated with common requirements.

  • Add, reorder, and customise tasks

Insert university-specific items, drag to reorder steps, and set due dates that sync with your overall timeline.

  • Mark progress and see what's next

Tick off completed items, filter by status, and view the next action for every application at a glance.

  • Link tasks to related features

Connect a checklist item to your Essays draft, Letters of recommendation request, or Activities list entry.

  • Share with your counsellor

Give your counsellor visibility into your checklist so they can add notes, suggest additions, or confirm completion.

How it works

  1. Select a university from your Application tracker

Open the checklist view for any application you are tracking.

  2. Review the suggested task list

See a starter set of steps based on typical requirements for that university and programme.

  3. Customise for your situation

Add missing items, remove irrelevant ones, set due dates, and link each task to the relevant part of your profile.

  4. Work through tasks in order

Complete items one by one, using filters to focus on what's due soon or still open.

  5. Review with your counsellor

Share the list in a Counselling session or via Counsellor chat to get feedback and stay accountable.

Who it is for

  • Students applying to multiple universities

Keeps each application's requirements separate and organised so nothing is missed.

  • Students who want a clear daily action plan

Turns a complex process into a simple next-step list they can follow each week.

  • Parents supporting the application process

Provides a transparent view of what their child has done and what remains.

  • Counsellors monitoring student progress

Lets them see task completion in real time and intervene early if a student stalls.

What you gain

  • Reduces mental load

You no longer need to remember every small requirement for every university.

  • Prevents last-minute surprises

Early visibility of all steps means fewer forgotten supplements or missed documents.

  • Keeps counsellor collaboration focused

Sessions start with a shared view of what's done and what's blocking progress.

  • Links actions to your application materials

Tasks connect directly to Essays, Letters of recommendation, and Activities list so work stays joined up.
